Teravista Elementary School For the first of the Digital Citizenship lessons, Mrs. Maggart’s first graders completed the “Online Safety” lesson from Common Sense Media. The learning did not stop there! Mrs. Maggart assigned the Family Activity and put it on Seesaw for the parents to see. The activity was to “Draw a picture of one place you would like to visit through the Internet. At the bottom of your picture, have a parent help you write the three safety rules for going places online.” When their child brings in their picture with the rules, they will earn a small treat for being responsible digital citizens at home,too!
