Teravista Elementary School During Mrs. Tricia Smith’s study of colonization, students conducted a mini-research project to examine the contributions of influential people during that time period. Using RRISD Research Resources to conduct their research, they explored nonfiction books, their SS Textbook, PebbleGo, Britannica Online, and Learn360 to learn more information about an influential person from Colonization. They kids synergized on a Google Slideshow to create an informational pamphlet. Students found images for their pamphlet on Britannica Image Quest. Each team presented their pamphlet to the class.
