7 Habits

Developing Leaders with 21st Century Skills

The Leader in Me is an innovative, school-wide model that emphasizes a culture of student empowerment and helps unleash each child’s full potential. Applying The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®, teachers and students internalize timeless leadership principles that nurture the skills students need for success in the 21st century.

The first three habits provide the foundation and allow for “private victories.” Before you can effectively work with others, you must first learn to effectively manage yourself. This is the natural result of learning to integrate Habits 1 through 3 into your life. Once you are actively living these habits, you are ready to work towards “public victories”, using Habits 4 through 7.
